"Sports is one of the very few areas in life that brings families and participants together from all walks of life and allows relationships to be built through hard work, discipline, success and even failure. The lessons that children can learn through sports and the mentors and relationships they gain and build are life long and I am grateful I can play whatever small part I may, in the stories that are told years and decades from now."
